About this course
The videos in this course cover: globalisation and the pattern/terms of trade, theories of free trade along with the pros/cons of free trade, the reasons for protectionism and a range of protectionist measures, the nature and importance of the balance of payments, and international competitiveness. Please note that there is a separate On Demand CPD course covering all aspects of exchange rate theory.
The videos cover all of the essential aspects of theory that you need to cover with students, as well as guidance on common errors and advice on supporting students with aspects that they typically struggle with. We include lots of ideas for teaching and learning activities, and where appropriate, we discuss links with exam-style questions.
