The video guidance covers the essential need-to-knows for teaching introductory Year 12 macroeconomics. The videos will help you to plan the order in which you teach these fundamental concepts to ensure future success in macro with your students. In particular, we focus on the underpinning quantitative skills that are needed for understanding the main macro measures, before delving into how best to introduce the main measures and objectives linked to growth, inflation and unemployment, as well as consideration of other objectives that students will meet throughout their course.

Isobel Dawson
Isobel is an Economics graduate who trained as a Mathematics teacher before becoming and Economics teacher and then leading an Economics department. She is interested in all aspects of Economics pedagogy, but is particularly eager to find effective approaches for students who find studying the subject more challenging.
