About this course
In this course, we start by exploring what is meant by synopticity in the context of AQA Economics and what this 'looks like' on Paper 3. We consider exam technique strategies for approaching the different question types: multiple-choice, 10-mark data analysis, 15-mark economic analysis, and 25-mark recommendation essays. We also consider a range of practical teaching and learning strategies that are easy to deploy from part way through Year 12, and that can be used by teachers working in different environments eg large/small classes, micro/macro split of teaching, sole teaching and so on. Much of the advice and guidance provided in this course is also relevant when supporting students with preparing for Papers 1 and 2.
