About this course

This short CPD course examines the reasons why business might want to grow and why they may want to stay small, in the context of business objectives and market structures, with plenty of classroom-ready examples along the way. We take a deep dive into the principal-agent problem, organic growth, and integration / M&A. Throughout the course, we embed analysis and evaluation skills along with application and teaching ideas. This course is particularly suitable for teachers of Edexcel Economics (A), but will provide insight to teachers of economics for all awarding bodies.
